The trail, in South Moor, County Durham, has been launched to mark the role of 200 miners from the village who died during the First World War.

A memorial trail was launched on Remembrance Day in memory of 200 miners from a pit community who lost their lives in the First World War.

The trail was opened as part of a regeneration scheme in South Moor in County Durham.
